Erika's professional background spans outdoor leadership education, green construction, young adult development, green jobs training and workforce development. With over a decade of leading workforce development efforts in the solar industry and as a former tradeswoman, she's in full support of Solar for Women's mission. Born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Erika was brought up by her mom, an immigrant from Barbados and St. Lucia, and the community she built. Erika currently resides in Washington, DC with her wife and child.

She enjoys birding, tennis, hiking, buildings, fixing things and witnessing people finding their power.
